Overview
Tracklas does not require an account, does not sell data, and does not use advertising networks or cross-site tracking. This notice explains what limited data processing occurs when you use the site, and what choices you have.
Analytics — Plausible (no cookies)
Tracklas uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect or store personal data. It counts page views and events using a daily hash that cannot be used to identify or track you across sessions or sites. The analytics data is hosted on Tracklas's own infrastructure.
Because Plausible is cookieless, it does not require cookie consent under PECR. It is active on all pages.
YouTube Embed Cookies
Pages with embedded video use the YouTube player (via youtube-nocookie.com). When the player loads, YouTube may set cookies on your device. These are controlled by Google, not Tracklas, and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), these are non-essential cookies and require your consent. Tracklas asks for this consent before loading any video player. If you decline, video players are not loaded and your data is not shared with YouTube. You can still watch content directly on YouTube.
You can change your preference at any time using the link in the site footer.
Server Logs
Standard web server logs — IP address, page requested, and timestamp — may be retained briefly for security and diagnostic purposes. These are not used for profiling or marketing, and are not shared with third parties.
No Account Required
Tracklas does not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information through normal use of the site. No registration is required.
